google analytics

Google AnalyticsI use Google Analytics to collect all types of data on visitors to my website (what browser they use, the size of their browser window, JavaScript enabled, Flash enabled, ...). This information helps me ensure that visitors get the best experience from my website and influences how I design and layout my websites pages.

But I am completely blown away! In just one year (January 2009 to January 2010) my website has been visited by almost 1,400 different folks from about sixty countries; they have looked at nearly 6,000 pages! This is all the more surprising because just yesterday I discovered that since November 2009, when published my websites new design, I somehow dropped this tracking from a large number of my pages (that's fixed now). I can only imagine how much larger these numbers might have been!

Here's a list followed by a map ...

This has completely exceeded my expectations, and it is quite surprising to, and very rewarding for me.  Who woulda thunk?
